International Market Thank You

I just wanted to thank the wonderful people of Stirling and the surrounding areas for their warm welcome yesterday. The International Market was a huge success! The Stirling Farmers' Market Co-op will be back later in the year for a Christmas Market, and I'll be bringing along lots of new soap varieties for the festive season.

Rooibos Teas at the International Market

Next Saturday (September, 29th), I’ll be representing South Africa at the International Market on Port Street in Stirling. I’ve made a few new soaps to bring along, but I’m most excited about my new line of blended Rooibos teas.

Rooibos, Afrikaans for ‘red bush’, isn’t really a tea at all, but the flavour is outstanding. It’s naturally caffeine free, and has a slightly sweet, nutty taste. I’ve blended this wonderful tea with flavours like vanilla and caramel, and I’ve even made a proper chai with lots of cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, pepper, and ginger.

If you’re in or around Stirling next Saturday, please stop by and say hello.

Fabulous Gourmet Tablet

This is a shameless little promotion for a wonderful little company called Fablet. They produce handmade Scottish butter tablet, but with a twist. You can choose from flavours like White Chocolate & Macadamia, Amaretto, or Strawberries & Cream. And of course, they make traditional vanilla tablet, too.

If you enjoy handmade tablet, please give Fablet a try.
